Wine Class Schedule

 Rules of the Road

  • Seating is Limited - Reservations are required.  Please Call 703-471-9649 to make reservations or email Lucinda@thewineseller.com.  Reservations will be confirmed 2-3 days prior to the class by telephone.
     
  • Credit Card Confirmation required at time of reservation; however, class charge will not be processed until the day of the class.
     
  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.
     
  • If you must cancel within 48 hours of the class, we will make every effort to fill your seat as we will have a waiting list for each class.  If we can fill your seat, you will not be charged anything.  If we cannot fill your seat, there will be a $10 charge.
     
  • Classes run 7:00pm to 8:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

Everything in the store (except Beer) is 10% off the evening of the class to all attendees!!

Wine Class Details

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 - 'What Goes With Sherry?'  We did this class about a year and a half ago and it was truly a transforming experience.  It was amazing to dry the different sherries without food - then go back and try them with specifically paired foods.  Delicious was the unanimous result!  Jason Bise of The Country Vintner will be here with some of the wonderful Lustau sherries.  $50 per person.  7:00pm.

 

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 - 'What Goes With Foods off the Grill?'  We're gonna cook up some great grilling basics and pair them with whites, reds and Rosés!  Jason Bise of The Country Vintner will be here as our Wine Guide.  $50 per person.  7:00pm.

 

Thursday, May 27th, 2010 - 'What Goes With Pan Asian Cuisine?'  It'll be an evening of global fusion as we travel the world tasting wines which pair well with Pan Asian foods.  Jim Futrell of Republic National Distributing will be here with the perfect wine pairings.  $50 per person.  7:00pm.

 

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 - 'Mediterranean Cuisine and Wines to Pair'  We'll tour around the Mediterranean Basin and try foods from Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Lebanon and try wines from all these regions as well along with a few other unique wine growing regions.  Amy Evans of Dionysos Imports will be our Wine Captain for the evening.  $50 per person.  7:00pm.
